Amazing stay.

Such a lovely lodge in such a lovely location. Was a holiday to refresh the mind. On arrival the staff at the holiday site were amazing and location of the site was perfect for travelling around the lake district. The hot tub was lovely touch and nice and clean. The hamper was a nice welcome to the lodge with a taste of the local foods. It's really hard to fault this lodge atall. The only slight niggle I would say is the positioning of the lodge for sun light. Unfortunately the decking with the hot tub is very secluded which was nice in the way of it feeling private however you do lack the sun shine in the evening. Thankyou for an amazing holiday will definitely be returning

Short stay

We enjoyed staying in the lodge and found it very comfy! We found all the little extras, such as hair dryer, great and a thoughtful touch. The only downside is there’s little to no WiFi and when trying to plan routes/outings we found it hard.

Nice stay, comfy lodge, but a few little niggles.

Nice week in a lovely location but we did have some issues. This was our second stay at this lodge, the first time we had no issues. However, this time we did. The blinds were broken with some of the blinds missing and others detattched meaning people could see into our lodge. The floor was dirty with mud when we first walked in which was extremely disappointing.

Thank you for your review and making us aware of a few things. It is disappointing to hear when something is not quite right and although it is now too late to put right for you please be assured, we will address the maintenance issue and also speak with the housekeepers so as to ensure something similar does not happen in the future. We are sorry for any inconvenience caused, although we are confident that should you choose to return everything will once again be to your satisfaction. As you quite rightly point out, a comfy lodge and a lovely location. This two-bedroom holiday lodge with hot tub is a wonderful place to relax and unwind.

Weekend break

A good lodge in a quite area on white cross bay. Dog friendly lodge, pity the on site bar restaurant isn’t the same. Good weather always makes the stay better, we would book this lodge again.

Thank you for the review, David and it is pleasing to hear the lodge was to your satisfaction. An excellent choice for a relaxing and peaceful break in the Lakes. Your comments relating to park services are noted and also passed to the park management for their reference - As booking agent to privately owned lodges this is something outside of our control although we do apologise for any inconvenience caused. Having said that we are delighted you enjoyed your stay and would book the lodge again. Fir Tree Lodge is cosy, modern and fully equipped. A beautifully presented dog friendly lodge, and a great place to stay.

Birthday trip to the Lakes

Nice Lodge. Felt a tiny bit damp. But comfy & clean. Hot tub was good, felt quite overlooked though. Good location for getting around the lakes. Windermere is 30 minute uphill walk though & closest town.

Great lodge with hot tub

Great lodge with added hot tub, great for us to be able to take dogs with us, slight issue was that our smaller dog could easily get through the wooden fencing!, plenty of room in lodge and everything you needed for your stay. Issue with the park - my wife is disabled and uses a mobility scooter, we found it difficult going around the park due to the speed humps which cover the whole of the roadway, could do with having a smooth bit on the edge for scooters/wheelchairs/pushchairs etc. also the bins were constantly full, so bags left all over including dirty nappies!

Lovely stay

The lodge was clean and comfortable and had everything you need to enjoy your stay. The correspondence from Lake District Lodge Holidays was excellent. I have stayed in other lodges provided by them and they have always been to a high standard and will be booking again in the future
