Everything was really good accept these few things In the bathroom it is pretty narrow and the heating rack is right next to the bath so when getting out or walking a long burnt ourselves a few times so we just put towels everywhere on it Not only this lodge but most are very hard to find as some like this one are not named like it is on the map and their is not many signs to this location This lodge is half private half not it is right next to a footpath so a lot of people walk and get lost in their cars their not good if you have a dog that is on alert however some of the hot tub is covered by trees Also just a thought to provide cleaning products however these are only nit picks would still pick to go to this place every year if we could the whole location the people and dogs are so friendly

Beautiful location. The lodge was nice and cosy and had all the facilities we needed and only a couple minutes walk to the lake. We took our paddle boards and had a lovely paddle on lake Windermere which was beautiful. The hot tub was clean and just what we needed to relax after a long day of exploring the lake district. Will be deffinately returning back next year. 3 nights wasn't enough time for us to explore so will be looking at a minimum stay of 5 nights. Highly recommend this accomidation to all. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
