With space for two cars and access to a bubbling hot tub and shared facilities, this woodland retreat offers a peaceful haven for families or friends looking to reconnect with nature. Nestled among tall trees and reached via gravel and steps, the brown timber lodge blends seamlessly into its leafy surroundings.

As you approach, the soft whisper of branches and the earthy scent of pine create an instant sense of calm. Inside, wooden floors lead you through a thoughtfully arranged space, beginning with a cloakroom to one side—perfect for freshening up after a day on the trails.

The open-plan layout draws you in, where the kitchen stands out with its sleek black tiling, grey accents, and pendant lighting above the breakfast bar.

Tree-framed views from the window make even simple moments feel special. The dining area, anchored by a circular glass table, invites long, leisurely meals and morning planning sessions.

Nearby, the sitting area features two sofas facing a mounted TV and electric fire, offering a warm, welcoming space to relax after exploring the fells.

The soft glow of the fire and the natural textures throughout create a gentle rhythm of rest and retreat. Sleeping arrangements are designed with flexibility in mind.

The double bedroom offers a peaceful escape, while the triple room—with a single bed above a double—and the bunk room—with two singles—cater to a variety of group sizes and needs.

Each room is crafted to ensure comfort and privacy, whether you're travelling with children or sharing with friends. The shower room, finished in black tiles and grey fittings, includes a walk-in shower, basin, and WC.

Its clean lines and calming tones make it a refreshing start to each day. Step outside to a private decking area, where you can sip your morning coffee or unwind as the sun dips behind the trees.

The hot tub bubbles invitingly nearby, promising deep relaxation beneath the stars.

A lawn area just beyond offers space to stretch out or let little ones roam freely. Guests also enjoy access to shared facilities, including a swimming pool, adding a splash of fun and relaxation to your stay. Beyond the lodge, the Lake District awaits.

Discover Brockhole on Windermere, a family-friendly centre with lakeside gardens, mini golf, and an adventure playground.

For sweeping views, head to Orrest Head Viewpoint, where a gentle climb rewards you with panoramic vistas over Windermere and the surrounding fells.
