“The property is very well stocked.”
There's a dishwasher, washing machine, dryers, microwaves, oven and hob, hairdryer, iron and towels. There was cleaning materials and sprays, spong, dishcloth and tea towels, washing up liquid. For cooking, plenty of cups, bolts, plates, utensils etc. As well as herbs, salt, pepper, vinegar.
Beds are comfy, everything was clean and well presented inside, although, there was no desk/dresser for putting toiletries on or doing hair/makeup and the socket was too far away for my hairdryer, luckily I ...

The hot tub is old but maintenence come every day. The outside bistro set is a little rickety now but there is a 4 or 5 seat table and chairs which are in great condition.
The Lodge is in the corner and out of the way, parking for one. Far enough from the clubhouse that it was quiet and peaceful.
Communication from Sykes, who we rented through, was excellent as there was a toilet issue before we arrived, they text to let us know but it was all sorted by the time we arrived.
The park is close to the lake, you can get ferries at Brockhole which is a 20.min walk nor 3 mins in the car. Windermere, Bowness Ambleside and Grasmere are all very close.
Highly recommend.
