    “So comfortable and clean accommodation, good situation for walking and places to see.”

    Facilities are quite good with a lovely children's play are, dog field, etc. Lots of wildlife around including many different birds and listening to the cuckoos was an added bonus. This was our second visit and we will return.

Welcome to Lavender, a dog friendly two bedroom holiday lodge Lavender is a comfortable holiday lodge located in the Applethwaite area of Limefitt Park. The lodge is spacious and well equipped offering guests a welcoming retreat. It benefits from an elevated south and west facing deck providing a relaxing space to unwind. Lavender is ideal for couples or families sleeping up to 4 guests plus an infant in a travel cot. The lodge offers great value accommodation in the heart of the Lake District. A delightful base from which to explore the surrounding villages and visitor attractions. The lodge welcomes 2 well behaved dogs. Accommodation Details Living area: - Bright and airy open plan lounge and dining area with feature fireplace with electric fire - 2 and 3 seater leather sofas and coffee table - Pine dining table and 4 chairs - 42 inch flat screen TV and DVD player plus iPod dock (lightening connection) Kitchen area: - Fully fitted kitchen with gas oven and hob, separate integrated tall fridge and freezer, microwave, slow cooker, kettle and toaster, ample cutlery and crockery plus storage cupboards Master bedroom: - The master bedroom has a wooden frame double bed - Built in wardrobes and radiators - En suite toilet with hand basin Second bedroom: - The second bedroom has two full length 2 foot 6 twin beds - Built in wardrobes and radiators Bathroom: - Family bathroom with full size bath and over bath shower - Toilet and hand basin, vanity unit with mirror, shaving point and radiator Other information: - Full gas central heating and double glazing ensuring a comfortable stay all year round - Guests can hire a selection of DVDs from the shop at reception

About the location

WINDERMERE

Ambleside 5 miles; Kendal 8.7 miles.

The twin towns of Bowness and Windermere are both vibrant, fun-filled places set within the splendid scenery of the Lake District. Both towns provide a range of amenities, shops and restaurants to suit all tastes whilst Ambleside offers the additional attraction of a boat ride to Bowness, the Lakeside Aquarium and Beatrix Potter's 'Hill Top House' at Sawrey. Grizedale Forest Park is within easy driving distance and is home to a range of activities including many good walks, mountain biking and the 'Go Ape' adventure park. The region also boasts many National Trust properties as well as a variety of water sports for those who prefer a more adrenaline-fuelled trip. Children will enjoy a trip to the 'World of Beatrix Potter' in Bowness whilst the villages of Grasmere, Coniston Water, Kendal, Keswick and the Lakeland Mountains are all within easy reach.

Lavender is accessed by 5 steps. The lodge is then all on the same ground floor level.

A travel cot will only fit in the living area. A travel cot and highchair are not provided, please bring your own.

Subject to Limefitt Park Holiday Park rules:
Commercial vehicles, caravans or camper vans cannot be parked on the site.
Hen or stag parties are not permitted.
Dogs must not be left alone in the lodges at any point during your stay.

There is a Good Housekeeping Bond of £100 for this property.
