Slow starts, outdoor exploration and cosy evenings come naturally here, making it an appealing base for families or groups who want to settle into the easy rhythm of the Lakes.

At the centre of the lodge is a spacious open-plan living area made for time together.

Sink into the inviting sofas for a film on the Smart TV, with the gentle glow of the electric wall-effect fire adding comfort on cooler nights.

The dining table becomes the natural gathering point for long breakfasts, card games and mapping out tomorrow’s adventures.

Meanwhile, the well-equipped kitchen has everything needed for simple lunches or leisurely home‑cooked dinners.

Patio doors open onto the decked veranda, an ideal spot for a quiet morning brew, an alfresco meal or simply watching the light shift through the surrounding trees.

When night falls, three thoughtfully arranged bedrooms await.

The king‑size room enjoys its own en-suite shower room, while two twin rooms, one with smaller beds and one with full‑size singles, offer flexibility for children, friends or mixed groups.

A family bathroom serves the remaining rooms, and convenient parking sits close by.

White Cross Bay adds a holiday atmosphere with its on‑site amenities, including a restaurant and bar, a handy shop, an indoor swimming pool with spa facilities, an amusement arcade and a children’s activity centre.

Lakeside paths and the marina invite gentle strolls, while the wider park setting encourages slowing down and spending time outdoors.

Beyond the park, Windermere offers boat trips, lakeside walks and the much‑loved World of Beatrix Potter.

Ambleside brings independent shops, cafés and classic walking routes, while the Lake District National Park spreads out in every direction with serene tarns, iconic fells and unforgettable viewpoints.
