Limefitt, Fallbarrow and White Cross Bay holiday parks offer a complimentary WiFi connection. This is provided by the park operators Parkdean Resorts and is subject to fair usage guidelines.

Quality and reliability of connection will vary based on the number of people using it, prevailing weather conditions and therefore may be limited or slower than you are used to. From our experience, it is only suitable for page browsing and sending emails.

WiFi is provided for personal use only and is not intended for high data usage, gaming and/or use for business purposes.

For more reliable WiFi, guests should select the ‘Dedicated WiFi’ search filter – which can be found under ‘More Filters’. Lodges with such a facility also have a specific icon on their listing as well as a note in the lodge’s ‘Need to know’ section.

At Limefitt Park, there is a broadband line providing unlimited and speedy access at Esthwaite, Hill Lodge, Ramblers Rest, Catbells, Osprey’s Nest and Rowan Lodge free of charge. Valley View and Fairfield have ‘direct to lodge’ WiFi.

At White Cross Bay a number of lodges have ‘direct to lodge WiFi’ which is a secure channel running off the park wide WiFi. This usually provides a speed of up to 5 mbps.

At Fallbarrow Park, Fallbarrow Glade Lodge has its own dedicated WiFi connection.

High Borrans has radio WiFi to each lodge.

Quality of connection at ALL lodges may vary at times. No guarantee is given as to the speed of WiFi service or its reliability. Bookings cannot be accepted if they are solely reliant on the provision of uninterrupted and unlimited WiFi.

Stays can be arranged at Fallbarrow Park and High Borrans all year round (except Hazel, Dene and the Shepherd’s Hut at High Borrans where stays are between March 15th and November 15th).

White Cross Bay and Limefitt Park close on the 3rd January 2020. Selected lodges will be available to book from the 7th February 2020, however, please note onsite facilities will not open until the 14th February.

Bed linen and towels are included in the price of your stay. There will be one hand towel and bath towel per person. Guests staying in a lodge with a hot tub or who are planning to use the leisure facilities, should bring their own beach/swimming towels.

A fully equipped kitchen is provided for self-catering. A toilet roll (per toilet), hand soap (per sink – either hand pump or sealed hotel style packet) oven glove, washing up cloth, scourer and washing up liquid (and dishwasher tablets if applicable) are provided to get you started. These may not be sufficient for the duration of your stay and therefore we suggest you bring all the necessary provisions for your stay. Alternatively, there are plenty of shops around where you should find what you need.

No – the lodge is self catering. There is a Booths Supermarket, Co-op and Sainsburys Local in Windermere, Tesco Express and Co-op in Bowness as well as a Spar at the petrol station in nearby Troutbeck Bridge.

For the larger supermarkets, head to Kendal where you will find Morrisons, Sainsburys and Aldi in the north of the town and ASDA in the south.
