Located between the towns of Windermere and Ambleside and surrounded by beautiful fells and panoramic lake views, White Cross Bay offers the perfect base from which to explore the Lake District.
Marina with direct access to Lake Windermere
For sailing and water sports enthousiasts, White Cross Bay
benefits from its own marina with direct access to the Lake
and it offers one of the best boat launching facilities on
Lake Windermere. Tuition for various water sports
(canoeing, water skiing, sailing etc) can be found at the
nearby Low Wood Bay Watersports Centre or in Bowness.
It has also been awarded the David Bellamy Gold Award for its commitment and demonstration of concern for the environment.
The park is located in protected woodland and countryside areas. Our guests can enjoy the natural surroundings where birds, animals and plant life can be seen. The woodland park extends to 60 acres.
